Romantic wedding florals and flowers in Berlin, Brandenburg and Germany. Garden Chic

Picture this...

You wake up with salty air coming through the windows. Breakfast is already on the table.
Flowers are waiting; some grown, some foraged, some half-wild. Each morning begins with a fully guided, hands-on workshop focused on a different technique, format, or material exploration. Some days hold one longer immersive session; others may include two shorter guided workshops. Mornings are for making.
Afternoons are intentionally open; time to rest, gather materials, refine your work, swim, walk the dunes, or simply do nothing.
Evenings are for long tables, shared meals, and relaxed moments around a fire pit with S'mores.

We share our approach to flower arranging: thoughtful, natural, a little playful.

What you’ll learn,
create & take with you

Inspired by this coastline — dunes, driftwood, pebbles, wild edges — we’ll work with what’s in season and build skills you can use again and again.

Across the week you’ll explore:

  • Composition — colour relationships, texture, balance, scale, and visual storytelling

  • Working with varied materials — flowers, fruit, foliage, branches, and found natural objects

  • Seasonal harvesting & foraging — how to gather responsibly and design with what’s available

  • Care & conditioning — pro techniques for longevity and mechanics

  • Wearable florals — crowns and small sculptural pieces

  • Atmospheric table styling — immersive dinner settings with flowers + natural elements

  • Hanging & suspended installations — structure, mechanics, and spatial design

  • One large-scale shared installation — collaborative, expressive, and site-specific

The Venue

Coastal, rural, tasteful and serene, Monte Meu is a hundred year old whitewashed family-run farm with thick clay walls and tiled roofs.

It sits just a stone’s throw from a light house on the Atlantic ocean and a 10 minute walk to a small village. Facing the stunning raw natural beauty of the coast with its cliffs, walking trails and beach coves, Monte Meu is unique in that it is also surrounded by the feeling of community offered by a serene farming village.

The Monte Meu farm, along with its gardens and vegetable beds, has four sunny guest cottages and 4 suites. It accommodates up to twenty two guests, and is surrounded by pasture lands used for grazing farm animals, five horses and an ever growing herd of goats.

Who is it for

All levels welcome; beginners, enthusiasts, and working florists.
